Lisboa is also known as the city of seven hills. Thanks to this fact, there are several viewpoints along the city where you can enjoy a privileged view of Lisbon, Tejo river, watch an amazing sunset while having a coffee, an “amarginha” (almond liqueur) or a “caipirinha”. Among all, here you have my favourites.

1.LOST IN   (esplanada Bar)

Located in Rua D.Pedro V Nº56-D, 1250-094 , besides Sao Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint, is a nicely place to have lunch, dinner, or simply a coffee or any drink. It has wonderful views to the Baixa and it has a glazed terrace and an outside terrace.

4. PARK ROOFTOP  Tv. André Valente, 1200-109 Lisboa

This place is my favourite terrace. It is located 5 minutes walking to the West from Praça Camoes. It is difficult to find because, in fact, it  is a real parking where the last floor has been transformed in this cool viewpoint. It has the best views to the 25th April Bridge. Perfect place to get a litle tanned in a sunny day while you have a drink or a coffee.

Also. Park Rooftop is the right place to get someone surprised because you can go up walking through the parking and the less thing you think you can find in the roof it this wonderful terrace.

This place is very close to Lost in and is located in the Rua Sao Pedro de Alcantara. There is a garden with nice views to the Baixa and the Tejo river, and also the Sao Jorge Castle can be seen from here. There is a “kiosko” where you can have something to drink and take a break. In order to get here from Liberdade Avenue it is very recommended to take Gloria elevator.

6. POLLUX  R. dos Fanqueiros 276, 1100-119

Located in the Baixa, Pollux is a shopping centre not very known by tourist people. Taking the elevator, go to the last floor and you will find a terrace and a snack bar with a great view of the Baixa, Convento do Carmo, Bairro alto. The main picture of this section has been taken from Pollux.

7. MIRADOURO DE SENHORA DE MONTE Largo Monte, 1170-107 Lisboa

It is a litle complicated to reach this viewpoint because it is one of the highest points of the city. It is located in the Monte Gens and from here you can get a global view of Lisbon. A great idea is to hire a scooter and drive through the very narrow streets with a significanc slope you will find in Alfama.

8. MIRADOURO DE SANTA LUZIA   Parada de tranvía Largo das Portas do Sol

Viewpoint to Tejo river, it is located in the way to Sao Jorge Castle. In this place you will find a placa with the gardens of Julio do Castilho, a corridor and the Santa Luzia church. If you go up a litle more, you will find a balcony with a kiosk. This balcony is called the Sun´s door. ( Portas do Sol in Portuguese).
